Blog
The Print is Dead blog is a website for my book Print is Dead: Books in Our Digital Age, which was published in print and electronic formats by Palgrave Macmillan in 2007. The aim of this blog is to comment on the day-to-day developments concerning the “print is dead“ debate, as well as the argument over the future of the book. The blog consists of links to contemporary articles concerning the fate of physical media in a variety of formats, including newspapers, CDs, DVDs, and of course books, not to menion touching upon how the disappearance of these media formats — along with the inevitble rise in digital delivery and consumption — will change the way entire generations think about art, commerce, and communication. The blog will also comment on recent online developments and ideas, including The Attention Economy and Web 2.0.
